Silkscreen press printing a glass bottle

How it works

Ink pressed through a mesh, cured to the bottle.

A custom screen is created from your artwork. Ink is pressed through the screen onto the bottle as it rotates against the press. The print is then heat- or UV-cured, chemically bonding it to the surface. The result is a finish that's smooth to the touch, brilliant in color, and built to last the life of the container.

Why screen printing

Built for brands that ship in volume.

Durable, no-peel finish

Ink is cured directly into the bottle surface — it won't peel, bubble, or wash off like adhesive labels do.

Pantone color matching

We mix every color to the exact Pantone code you specify. What you see in your brand book is what you get on the bottle.

Up to 12 colors per run

From a clean one-color logo to detailed multi-color compositions with metallic gold and silver spot inks.

Glass, plastic, and metal

Specialty ink formulations for clear and frosted glass, HDPE and PET plastic, aluminum, and stainless steel.

FAQ

Common questions about bottle screen printing.

What is screen printing on bottles?

Screen printing on bottles is a direct decoration process where ink is pressed through a fine mesh screen onto the bottle surface and cured. Unlike labels, the design becomes part of the bottle — no adhesive, no edges, no peeling.

Is screen printing more durable than labels?

Yes. A properly cured silkscreen print survives dishwashers, ice baths, condensation, and freezer storage. Pressure-sensitive labels eventually lift, bubble, or scuff under those conditions.

What bottles can you screen print?

Wine and spirits bottles, beer bottles, beverage and water bottles, soap and lotion bottles, candle vessels, cosmetic and beauty containers, reusable drinkware, growlers, and most cylindrical glass, plastic, and metal bottles.

What is the minimum order?

Production minimums vary by bottle type and color count. Sample runs are available before committing to a full production order — contact us with your project details and we'll quote both.

How long does production take?

Standard turnaround is two to three weeks from approved artwork. Rush turnaround of 48–72 hours is available on select jobs.
