Screen Printing vs Labeling Bottles: Which Should You Choose?

Labels: flexible, fast, fragile
Labels are cheap to start, easy to redesign, and great for short runs or seasonal product lines. The downside: edges peel, water destroys them, and they always look like labels.
Silkscreen: permanent, premium, scalable
Silkscreen ink is fired onto the bottle surface. It won't peel, won't smudge, and reads as part of the bottle itself — not a sticker added after. Per unit it's competitive with mid-quality labels once you hit volume.
Pick silkscreen when
- Your product gets wet (soap, beverage, cleaning)
- You want a premium retail-shelf look
- Your design will stay stable for 6+ months
